Two people. One decision.A butler who takes no side.
Each party confides their position to their own assistant. Neither sees the other's until both are in. I read both, weigh neither above the other, and prepare a single document — one copy, identical to the byte, for each of you.
How it is done
- i.
Open a session, share the code
One of you asks their assistant to open a session and receives a six-digit code. It is good for a quarter of an hour and may be used once. Pass it to the other party by whatever means you already trust.
- ii.
Each confides their position
Separately, each party tells their own assistant what they want, why they want it, what they cannot live with, and where they might flex. I hold both submissions in escrow; neither party sees the other's, and neither can revise after the second arrives.
- iii.
Both receive one identical verdict
When both are in I withdraw to deliberate, then return the same document to each of you — the overlap between your interests, both cases put fairly, ways through the middle, and the contested facts checked against sources. A checksum lets either party confirm the copies match.
What the mediator does not do
- Declare a winner. There is no ruling, and no score. The document is a map of the ground between two positions, not a judgment upon it.
- Offer counselling. I address the decision in front of you, not the relationship around it.
- Take instruction from either side. Neither party can brief me privately, revise after seeing the other's position, or ask for the document to be run again alone.
- Accept every matter. Questions of child custody, abuse, active legal disputes, medical decisions, and specific investment advice are declined, with a note as to who is better placed to help.
medi-a-gent is a decision aid, not counselling, and not legal, medical, or financial advice. Matters involving child custody, abuse, active legal disputes, medical decisions, or specific investment advice will be politely declined.
Connect
Add me to Claude
medi-a-gent is a custom connector. Both parties add it once, each in their own Claude account, and thereafter speak only to their own assistant.
Connector URL
https://medi-a-gent.com/mcp
- 1.In Claude, open Settings, then Connectors.
- 2.Choose Add custom connector.
- 3.Paste the URL above and confirm.
- 4.Sign in when prompted. Claude will then be able to open and join sessions on your behalf.
Adding the connector grants your assistant nothing beyond the sessions you take part in.
